L.A. was founded in 2006 by two friends intent on creating a low key, laid back bar, and nothing more--what bars used to be. We cater to an eclectic mix of regulars who mix seamlessly with a daily influx of the uninitiated [your name here]. L.A. Bar & Grill offers a full menu ranging from appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and small plates until 1:00 AM daily. Specials include tacos on Tuesday, half priced burgers on Wednesday, pasta and chianti on Thursday, and Sunday game day specials suitable for all day sport watching on 9 HD flat screen televisions.

I love this place. Great cheap food and beers (though I wish they had more options there). Plenty of free parking between the adjacent lot and side streets. Thursday night trivia at 7:30pm is a blast.

Went yesterday for the first time since the remodel. It's a little less a divey looking, but not too much. I had a veggie burger that was really excellent. It was more like a sloppy Joe, delicious! My side was grilled vegetables and they were so good! Not only that, my beer was delicious.

Went last night for couples night and so glad we did! Buy one small plate, get another for $1 - plus half price wine! I had the hanger steak with chimichurri sauce, and it was delicious. My husband had the salmon, and he loved it. We hadn't been there since the renovation, but we will definitely be going back!
